Activities with the Mothers’ Group Returns with Full Power in Rio Vermelho
Last Thursday, after a long vacation, Mothers’ group in Rio Vermelho finally got back at the schedule.
According to one of the mothers: “It was a great to get back with the group, I was already missing the meetings. Here we can talk and forget a bit the daily problems”. In addition to learning new things, the mothers make new friends. This year, the group will have over 15 moms weekly, all residents from Chapadinha neighborhood in Rio Vermelho.
In this first meeting, all the participants could meditate about how important it is to dream and believe that we are capable of overcoming and conquering lots of things. After an entertaining raffle and a delicious snack with lots of chats, came the moment to ask to God for direction and protection for another year full of activities, for that we read Pslams 119: 105, that says about how the word of God is the light of our lives.
The feeling of the team that got together on last Thursday was of great joy. This group is an important support instrument to the families and has shown great results to the set of works done with BEM’s families in Rio Vermelho. According to Dayane Ferreira, the project manager, “When the group is together, bonds are created and experiences exchange cooperates for the growth and learning of all the participants”.
